Mommy's Baby

It is amazing how much I love this silly little dog. He is so fun and cute. I promise, soon I will post something other than Ollie. Right now, I am still too infatuated with this baby.

Yesterday, he weighed 12.4 pounds at the pet store. He is a big boy!!

Introducing Ollie Weires

We would like you to meet the newest member of our family ... Ollie Weires. Ollie is a Goldendoodle. He is a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. They are supposed to be very smart, great family dogs, with less shedding than a Golden. He reminds us greatly of Shandy.

Ollie was born Nov. 4th and joined our family yesterday, December 27th. He will be 8 weeks old tomorrow. We went to the pet store and purchased all his necessities. While there, I was laughing at myself and the kids at how this dog was already our "baby". We are ready to spoil him rotten. He did well last night in his crate. He cried when we put him in and I laid on the floor with a blanket beside him and he stopped crying and put his foot out on top of mine. He woke up 3 times in the night whining. I laid back down twice and John once. All we had to do was to lay beside him and say lay down and he would stop crying and go to sleep.

Well, just wanted to share these pictures. Happy vacation to everybody still on vacation.

It's a Wonderful Life!!

Hope everyone's XMas was as nice as ours. Family togetherness is wonderful! I love my kids staying home and us all just hanging out!!

More Dress Up!!

I don't have any new pics to add, so thought I would put more of Little Bug in her dress up attire. Today I gave her a little tiara and boy did she love that. She wore it to lunch and kept checking to make sure it was still on her head. Too cute!!

Weires Family Moving to Germany!!

Just Kidding. I was just trying to get your attention and to get back at all of you mean people. I have been BUSY!! But here are some pics of Dani's gang. They came home for me to take their "Family" pictures. We had a lot of fun.

John has been out of town for 2 weeks and I have been just being crazy with all the usual stuff.

Babsat Kendall the other day. We had a blast. Ashley says we spoiled her cause we let her use our cell phones. haha I love it. We also let her do her first dress up at my house the other day. Isn't she cute?

I am sorry and I will try to write more often. I am very bad.

Oh yeah, Kim. At the end of January, Alex will have Mr. Etienne in class. I forget his first name. You need to give me something for her to say to him. She kind of feels like it is kind of family she may be able to tease since he was so close to you guys.

Alex and the State XC Meet!

Dani met us in Lexington to watch Alex's team run at State today. The girls team came in 6th in the state and Alex had her best time this year. She broke 21 minutes. 20.59...... hey, that is still breaking 21.
She did great and now says she hurts all over. She is 74th in the State! Funny thing is, I hurt all over too!!
